Whitefield Lions Train & Doll Show
Feb 20 @ Augusta Armory
Our show is scheduled for February 20, 2016 at the Augusta, Maine Armory on Western Avenue. It will run from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Admission is $5.00 adults - children under 12 free and maximum price per family is $10. We may have a raffle - usually we don’t. Our show is unique in that it is a combination Model Railroad AND Doll House Show. So we get a number of people with interest in both. What we see also is many dollhouse goers mosey over to the railroad vendors and vice versa for things like trees, model cars, etc. No problems with strollers or wheelchairs. The building is handicapped accessible. We will have refreshments available - including breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. Email Steve Laundrie for more information.
Denver Museum of Miniatures: The ‘Little’ Show
Feb 20 @ Jefferson Country Fairgrounds
We are a hand-crafted Artisan show. Last year We allowed The Dealers to sell other Artisan work besides their own, which expanded the amount of Artisans work for sell. We are a one day show that sells Miniatures, Dolls, Bears and Toys all Hand-crafted. It is a small show that allows New Artisans to show and sell and get started without a lot of expense. Our annual “the’little’show” is a Friend-raiser as well as a Fund-raiser experience. The show runs from 10am to 4pm. There is a Lunch & Snack Counter which is open all day, and a Silent Auction from 11am to 3pm. Admission is $6 for Non-Members, $5 for Members, and $4 for Children. There are also two mini workshops happening during the show, 25th Anniversary Celebration and a Fairy Garden, and they require pre-registration and cost extra.
